The once-neglected, sun-faded 914 was transformed into a true showstopper. Competing in the Individualization category, the build honored Porsche heritage while embracing creative custom touches. The result? A stunning off-road “Baja” inspired design, complete with a lifted stance, rugged tires, and desert-inspired colors that reflect the beauty of Arizona.
Every detail told a story—from the number 5 symbolizing Porsche Tucson’s fifth entry in the Restoration Challenge, to the community-driven approach that shaped the project from day one. Porsche Tucson hosted a special event where local fans helped guide the vision, ensuring that this restoration wasn’t just a dealership effort, but a project “for the community.”
That collaborative spirit shined through in Monterey. In a field of more than 800 breathtaking Porsches, the bold and lovingly restored 914 captured the hearts of enthusiasts, proving that passion, teamwork, and community involvement make all the difference.
